Unnamed Cod Boat


      Description: Model of clinker built fishing vessel referred to in the early years of this colony as "Tamar Cod Boats". Very little sheer, dipping bowsprit, gaff rigged, centre wet well. Wooden peg rowlocks & long oars stowed in board. Very shallow draught - usual fulll sidze between 18 & 24 feet. Flush deck for'ard. Bowsprits usually made of "Boobyalla" (coastal wattle")
