Built over a five year period, The Church Of The Holy Trinity was officially opened at a ceremony conducted by the Second Bishop of Hobart, The Right Reverend Dr. D. Murphy on the 20th. of May 1874. The Church Clock Tower was added in 1901. The new Convent School opened in 1940 is visible in the background. The image was taken in 1961 from the north-eastern direction.
