Description: Bronze, three bladed propeller and bronze shaft with steel coupling still attached. The whole is displayed in the Furneaux Museum grounds, sitting on steel supports. The propeller can still turn.The propeller and shaft is from the Merilyn, formerly the Narrabeen which was wrecked off Goose Island in the Furneaux Group on November 22, 1958. The crew got to Goose Island in the ship's boat. In December 2007 the propellor was shifted to the front of the new Museum building on new galvanised steel supports.
