      Date: 1930 -

Description: Pair of shoe trees with gold-painted wooden ends, and wires covered in pink satin with coffee lace trim. Used to keep shoes in shape when not being worn. Belonged to, and probably decorated by, Hilda Blundstone (1914-2003) who lived most of her life on Flinders Island, having arrived there in 1937 to take up the position of teacher at Whitemark School.
