Three patch pockets, top one has a yellow and pale blue embroidered monogram of Prefect and FIAS with wreath around. Worn by Brian Boyes when a prefect at Flinders Island Area School (FIAS) in 1952-53. Prefects were elected by the students and 1952 was the first year this occurred. Other first prefects were Shirley Virieux (m Holloway), William Riddle, Coralie Bumford (m Picket), Eric Gardner and one other.Tag on inside of blazer with manufacturers name.
