Cutlery Set in Leather Case

      Date: 1930 -

Description: Folding cutlery set consisting of knife, fork and spoon (similar to Swiss Army knife), and leather case. The 3 utensils can be separated. The knife blade is steel: the rest appears to be plated brass. The case is embossed with the Australian coat of arms, has a plated buckle and studded seams. Belonged to George Anderson Dargaville (d. 1987 on Flinders island). Was probably used by him in World War ll and may have been army issue.
