Description: This site is a complex of 3 separate but linked areas: the pilot station, the brick kiln and the church ruin as well as associated sites including the burial ground. Convict labour was used extensively for brick-making, construction of the church, cultivation and daily running of the pilot station. This State and Commonwealth listed Heritage site is currently undergoing conservation stabilization work with Commonwealth Government assistance under the Cultural Heritage Projects Program.
