Originally owned by an early pioneer Mr. Richard Palmer of Woodsdale and taken to Nugent by his daughter Martha when she married William Butterworth in 1906. It has been passed down through the Butterworth family and is presently owned by Richard's great grandson Ken Butterworth from whom it is on loan to the Woodsdale Museum.
