Description: These are a pair of Grecian style pole screens in Brazilian rosewood with ormolu engine-turned mounts. The silk banners on brass rods (the originals removed and conserved) on carved and turned lotus and beaded columns. They have a tripartite base with voluts. Listed in the "Inventory of Heirlooms under the will of Thomas Archer Esq."
