The Dallas Homestead at Rocky Cape, Tasmania in the early 1900s

      Date: 1900 -

Description: The original home of Tom Dallas at Rocky Cape, Tasmania was built about 1840 and It became known as the Dallas Homestead. It was the place where Tatlow's Coaches, which ran for 35 years, changed their horses as they took the coach between Stanley and Wynyard . The house was also the local post office and later had a telephone exchange.
