Description: Wooden semi-circular shelf with diamond shaped wooden backing. The backing has circular decorative holes and is painted brown. A split in the timber is mended using a penny (1964) as a plate to screw the split together. The shelf has a cream colored macrame hanging attached. The shelf, thought to be a stand used in a church, was found on Great Dog Island and is possibly 100 years old.
