Description: Photo of the old Cygnet Post and Telegraph Building with the Post Master and two staff out front note the Telegram boy and his delivery bike out front. The house is listed as being constructed in 1880, the premises was run as a Post Office in the 1940's by a Mr Coad and his family. The house was built on 9 acres 3 rood of land granted to Francis Henry Burslem in 1855, he is known to have lived in Cygnet with his wife Susan, although she died in 1862 after 10 years of marriage
