Description: 12hp Traction engine. No. 7676. Wood burning steam engine. Boiler made of Scottish Lowmoor iron. Brought to Tasmania for Messrs Cheek & Chandler, Longford for general contracting. Sold to Hinman, Wright & Manser for driving sawmill. Later sold to Messrs Bird & Mahnken, mill operators, Ringarooma area. c1930 engine was sold to P W Edwards to heat and power cheese factory.
