      Description: Looking out through the cave entrance on the eastern coastline of Hunter Island with a person standing in the entrance. Archaeological work done by Dr Sandra Bowdler of the University of New England has revealed that it was occupied by aborigines at least 23,000 years ago making it the oldest known site of human occupation.
