      Description: House built by George Lee at Leesville, Tasmania - the house is still standing today. Joseph Samuel Lee took up land on the Mowbray Swamp in 1884 in the area that became known as Leesville two miles west of Smithton. In 1900 his sons George, William, Joseph and Allan all became partners in the firm known as J S Lee and Sons.
