 Click thumbnail for a larger image. | Description: This farmhouse was situated on Junction Farm, near Hadspen in Tasmania. The home was built by Mr. Henry Crockford in the 1850's, with thick walls and iron bars over the small windows to give him and his family members some type of protection against uninvited guests. The Eastoe family are visible standing in front of the dwelling. The building was demolished in 1938 and a replacement home was built on the same site. The photograph was taken from the southern direction.
