The church was built with money raised by the farmers and workers of the district, which numbered about 200, with energetic hard work the neat little church was erected at a cost of 230 pounds. Constructed of wood on the Gothic style it was designed and built by George Wagner. The carved altar table, prayer desk and lectern were made of Huon and American pine. This church is still in use today.
