Description: Three colour photographs taken at Coal Pit Bight in Recherche Bay during the course of a search for the vegetable garden planted by Felix Lahaie of the D'Entrecasteaux Expedition in 1792. The first photo shows Greg Hogg holding the topographical map for Recherche Bay on the beach at Coal Pit Bight. The second photograph shows Greg Hogg holding a specimen of the fungus commonly referred to as "blackman's bread" near Lahaie's Garden . The third shows a coal pit belonging to the 1840 convict colliery near the garden.
