Description: Construction continues on the Dewpoint Dehydration factory at Smithton, Tasmania. It had reinforced high concrete walls and was built close to the railway line. When it was finished it provided dehydrated vegetables for the forces and marked a new era for Circular Head and ultimately vegetable growing became a major industry for the area.
