Description: This structure is situated at No. 103 Meander Valley Road in Westbury, Tasmania. The motor garage was originally built by local builder Mr. John H. Bellinger for Mr. William Peterson in the early 1920's. Mr Peterson sold the business in 1923 to Mr. H.E.Boon who had recently arrived in the district from Queenstown. Boon's garage was the only one of its type in the town for many years and the business employed three men at different times. The building was sold after Mr. Boon's death in 1964. Various business ventures have operated at this address in recent years. The photograph was taken from the south-eastern direction in December 1991.
