Description: Set of three blowtorches which are used for removing oil based paint from metal or timber, particularly necessary when the paint is several layers thick. All have brass vessels to contain the fuel, spouts from which the flame ensues and pumps to build up the pressure of vapourised fuel. These blowtorches are believed to have belonged to Walter Briant, whose workshop was at Badger Corner.
