      Date: 1920 -

Description: Leather glove, probably originally grey, with grey and yellow striped canvas cuff, but now very stained and discoloured. Tips have been cut off the fingers, leaving them open ended. Brittle and stained from use. Worn by mutton-birders when taking chicks from the burrows. One of the original artefacts in the replica mutton-bird processing shed.
