Description: Original was a box Brownie photograph of a rural scene at Mengha of a country lass riding on a horse with hay fork over her shoulder at O'Connors Road (now Argents Road), Mengha, Tasmania. Each morning she rode this horse to take the milking cows to another farm for the day and then again in the afternoon to bring them back to milk them. She also rode the horse to Mengha to the shop and post office to get the groceries and mail which she carried in a sugar bag on her back.
