      Description: Bill and Norah Holyman. The Holyman family owned Robbins Island from 1916-1958. Bill Holyman was the manager of the families island enterprise from the 1930s until the late 1950s. The Holyman family purchased Trefoil Island for 1000 pounds in 1926. Bill Holyman was Trefoil's first permanent resident. He lived there for 4 years before taking over management of Robbins Island.
