Description: John Burke of Green Hills, Stanley droving cattle up King Street, Smithton, Tasmania in 1906. Mr Burke was taking the cattle to Stanley from his lease on Perkins Island near the mouth of the Duck River. The Bridge Hotel and the bridge over the Duck River can be seen clearly in the background as well as part of the town.
