Description: An archival A4 album containing 72 colour photographs showing the various activities performed to celebrate the Bicentenary of settlement of Sydney, as well as documentation of these events. The events included an historical pageant on Allports Beach, the official re-opening of the Museum by Mr Chris Tassell, a visit by Tall Ship entrant "The Defender", the lighting of the beacons, a civic reception for the Governor, a thanksgiving service ,and the Bicentennial Ball. Also featured are photos of the 1988 Flinders Island Show and a report and photos by N. Cooper of "Droving 88" in the Northern Territory.
