Description: This building is situated at 34 William Street in Westbury Tasmania. The timber shop and residence was built in 1887 for Mr. Howard G.J. Drew who was the local pharmaceutical chemist and dentist. Mr. Drew was also an amateur photographer and kept a large supply of photographic material at this address. The Westbury Pharmacy operated from this site until the 1960's when the business was transferred to its present site at No. 82 Meander Valley Road. Various small business ventures have operated from this structure in recent decades. The National Trust of Australia (Tasmania) classified building was photographed from the eastern direction in December 1994.
