Description: A collection of paper nautilus shells, all sizes. The shell is the egg-case of the female Argonauta nodosa (a species squid). All collected on western Flinders Island beaches. Two special shells show the animals ability to repair it's damaged shell. Collection includes a specimen of the female and eggs preserved in methylated spirits.
