Description: Coloured photograph of the Old Port in Wynyard Tasmania c1915, east of the main beach with Table Cape in the background. Only 2 ends of the breakwater are still standing (2003). A Wharf on the land side of the breakwater was built in 1896 and dismantled approx 10 years later. Strong seas (waves) gradually broke down the breakwater over many years.
