Description: A micrometer sextant in a wooden case. The inside of the lid features in inspection certificate dated 13.11.63. The box contains a gothic sextant manual. Sextants are used for finding the altitudes of celestial bodies above the sea horizon, for trigonomically calculating latitude and longitude.
