Description: Two of the three hay knives have steel blades with serrated edges, one is 82cm by 5cm and the other is 92cm by 6cm. The handles are 10cm long with a diameter of 2cm. The larger knife is 69cm by 12cm with the blade tapering to a point. The handle is 43cm long with a diameter of 3cm. These hay knives were used on the Howard property at Woodsdale to cut open and trim haystacks in the late 1800s.
