Description: An archival album, A4 size, containing retyped extracts from William Clark's diary recording the overland trek to Port Jackson to seek help; retyped extracts from Captain Hamilton's Protest describing the wreck; photocopy of archaeological report 'Sydney Cove Site Work 1974 - 1980' by Ken Atherton and Shirley Lester; photocopy of article 'Recent work on the Sydney Cove historic shipwreck' by Mike Nash, published in Bulletin of the Australian Institute for Maritime Archaeology, 15.1; photocopy of article 'Sydney Cove Expedition May 1978 and Historical Background of Preservation Island 1797 - 1979' by Bruce Bensemann, dated 9th July, 1980. The Sydney Cove was beached off Preservation Island on February 9, 1797.
