Description: St. Chads Church is built out of timber weatherboards with a iron roof. Most of the timber was cut on site with a "pit saw" using voluntary labour and some extra timber had to be purchased from Albert Quinn at Black Charlies' Opening. The church was built to service the spiritual needs of the Levendale community. After four years of planning and discussion the foundation stone was laid on the 17th of May 1906 on the land which had been donated by Mr. Albert Balsley . On August 13th 1907 over one hundred people gathered to witness the opening of St. Chads by Bishop Mercer. St. Chads Church is still being used today.
