Description: The wreck of the 'S S Colliboi" off Woolnorth Point, Tasmania. The 'S S Colliboi" was once part of the State Shipping Service and was owned by W M Holyman and Sons and was wrecked on the 23rd August 1932. The ship was en route from Launceston to King Island and had loaded 27 head of cattle on Hunter Island and was on the way to Trefoil Island when it struck rocks as it was passing through a channel known as Hell's Gate. The 'SS Colliboi' was beached at Woolnorth Point and most of the cattle were saved but the 'SS Colliboi" was declared a total wreck.
