Description: White linen sideboard runner, with a rectangular pulled thread border, 42 mm deep, and white and cream Hardanger embroidery. Handworked by Mary Maynard, nee Armstrong, on Cape Barren Island, between 1890 and 1897, under the instruction of Mrs Maria Stephens, wife of the school master.
