Pluck Room Seat

Description: Vacuum oil company case with a homemade cushion made from unbleached calico, stuffed with feathers and with a white button in the centre. The seat is in the pluck room, where the women would do the first stage of plucking and feathers were put into sacks for later use in bedding. One of the original artefacts in the replica mutton-bird processing shed.
