Description: William Poke and his wife Jane early pioneers of Smithton, Tasmania and their daughter Jane built this house in King Street in 1906. Jane also ran the Post Office from this address. When the property was transferred to Ada Billett (nee Poke) wife of Frederick Billett a plumber in 1921 a shop front was added to the building on King Street.
