Description: Large cast iron cooking pot with handle used to cook over an open fire. Martha Howard used this form of cooking from 1907 and her descendants still used it today. Mostly used for boiling meat, pot roast and poultry. Cast iron hooks were used to hang the pot from a bar in the open fire place.
