      Date: 1900 -

Description: Galvanised steel, cylindrical, carbide lamp with two compartments to contain the solid calcium carbide and the water. Chrome plated steel reflector behind the orifice, steel clip to allow attachment to a belt. Inscribed "PINNACLE". Two tabs on top for attaching carrying cord or wire. Used for posssum hunting for skins which was an industry on the island around early 1900's.
