The pea harvest machine at work in the fields in Circular Head, Tasmania

      Description: The pea crops were mown with a grass mower and this machine collected up the peas vines which were loaded onto a truck and taken to the pea viner stations where the peas were threshed. The waste was made into silage for stock feed. In Circular Head the viner stations were at Rocky Cape, Irishtown, Forest and Nabageena.
