Description: Photograph of the S.S.SOUTHERN CROSS mounted in a brown wooden frame. S0UTHERN CROSS 664 tons was built at Govan, Scotland in 1864 for the Tasmanian Steam Navigation Coy. She went ashore on Rocky Cape, N.W.Tasmania on the 22-2-1889 and was a total loss.
