Bert was behind enemy lines but managed to escape. Now head of Dover RSL, has written many articles in local papers for the RSL. Born at Hastings, and still owns property there. Attended Hastings State School (c 1930 - 1934). Played football for Southport. Father was a baker, sawmiller, fisherman. Still many Prices in the area.
