The jar has a label on the front with a picture on it and the inscription " Potter & Moore MITCHAM LAVENDER Smelling Salts". The top of the lid is also inscribed "Potter & Moore ENGLAND". The jar contains pinkish crystalls and appears to be full. This item is part of a collection which belonged to Mrs. Alice Elliot, whose husband was Col. Elliot. Alice was a nurse during WWI and during WWII she joined the Tasmanian Volunteer Services.
