The first Hall and Library at Irishtown, Tasmania

      Description: The first Irishtown Hall and Library was completed and in July 1900. The building was 40 feet by 25 feet and was designed and erected by Mr F E Smith of Stanley. The opening was in the form of a ball held on August 7th 1900. The hall at Irishtown, Tasmania was demolished in 1977 when it was replaced with the present Irishtown Community Centre Inc.
