Contains an unused pocket-sized Calendar and Diary for 1938. The box was made by Mr Fuegel when he was a guard at the Wireless Station on Flinders Island during the 1914-1918 war. He gave it to Iola Woods, who in turn gave it to R. M. (Dick) Fowler when they were married in 1941. Donated to the museum by Iola Fowler in remembrance of her husband on the 20th anniversary of the opening of the museum, 30 January 1985.
