Standard Compass, 'Cape Forestier'

Description: Standard compass from the 'Cape Forestier',originally a steam tug, it was converted to diesel and carted paper up the Derwent River. The stand has a wooden base with a metal top. There is an arm on either side supporting a red iron sphere and green iron sphere. The front panel opens to see inside.
