Description: A small copper medallion featuring a sailing vessel mounted inside a disc with the inscription, "BRUNY ISLAND 1988", surrounded by a rope design. The reverse side has the word, "Tasmania", inside an outline of a map of Tasmania. This medallion was inspired by medals presented by Captain Cook in 1777 to the aboriginals on Bruny Island .
