Description: Tasmanian oak lecturn with two turned legs. Solid front panel. Top part which is not connected to the base has a sloped top with opening lid. Candle wax is still visible on the top as electricity was not installed until 1952. This lecturn was lost for over forty years until the Southern Midlands Council came across a crate in the cellar in 2007 marked "Woodsdale School". Now housed at the Woodsdale Museum.
