Description: This clock belonged to Mary Howard (nee Flood) who migrated from Norfolk, England in 1857 to Woodsdale. The family believed that the clock was brought out by Mary from England and had been made in England. The clock was given to her grandson Nigel Howard after her death in 1923 at the age of 101 years. After Nigel's death in 1971 the clock then became the property of his sons Ron and Clifford Howard. In 1997 the brothers gave the clock to their nephew Gregory Dare who then took it to a jeweler to have it cleaned and was told then that the clock had been made in America and was exported to England. This clock still works and was donated to the Woodsdale Museum by Gregory Dare.
