Description: Cream china with pink and burgundy orchids, green leaves and gold embellishments, it has a gold scalloped edge. Three 0.5 cm legs protrude from the bottom of the bowl. Used for holding indoor pot plants or flowers. This was given as a wedding present to Martha Palmer & William Butterworth in 1905. Martha Palmer was a descendant of John Palmer an early pioneer of the Woodsdale area. It has been in use from their wedding to present day, being passed down through the Butterworth family to Barry Butterworth.
